Nick's Z33 Photoshoot (November 2012)

Driver: Nick P.
Car: 2006 Nissan 350z (Z33)
Color: Magnetic Black
Rims: Rota P45R +20

This photoshoot was a fun one to do. The location was in San Jose and I have always wanted to shoot at this location. Like most days in the year for California, it was sunny. This made it easy to shoot the pictures!

This was the first "real" photoshoot on this car so it was a fun experience. Traffic wasn't that bad so we did not have to worry about causing a hazard or having people blocking our shots often.

We went to two locations this time to take these pictures. Both were in San Jose. Overall the shoot took about 2.5 hours including the travel and set up time.

Hope you guys enjoyed the results from this photoshoot! We will provide a small interview or written article for the featured cars in the future. Thanks for checking us out! Stay tuned for more!

Hi guys!

I had an awesome opportunity to sit down with some of the guys from Stance X Formation! I asked them some basic questions about their group and their goals. Cool bunch of guys! Enjoy the small interview and don't forget to visit their page and support them by dropping them a like! :]

Interviewer: Nick Pham
Stance X Formation: Braulio Negreira, Erik Feldmeier, Marco Xhorrack, and Daniel Ho (Was at work at the time of the interview)
Date: 11/14/2012

Nick: When and why did you guys start Stance X Formation?

Braulio: We started on September 30, 2012 and we felt that there was a void in the car scene that we wanted to fill in. Another goal was to get the Euro scene more involved with the current car scene and also to become a little more personal with our followers.

Nick: How many members were in the founding group?

Braulio: There are 4 founding members. Erik, Daniel, Marco, and myself.

Nick: How did you guys all meet?

Erik: Out of the four, three of us are photographers. I am running the business and strategic planning. Our motto is to unify both ends of the car world, offer our fans with both sections to enjoy. In our crew, we are very unified and strong friends. We always check in with each other before doing anything. I created the webpage, Braulio and Daniel offered the first feature, and Daniel created the name that we all agreed on.

Braulio: Just wanted to add that Daniel and Marco are brothers!

Nick: Nice!

Nick: Is there a story behind why you guys chose the name Stance X Formation?

Erik: The story behind the name...gosh..where to start??? We were actually goofing around with the names.

Marco: I came up with the name first. lol.

Marco: Then I told my brother Daniel about it.

Braulio: Pretty much since everyone liked the name, and it fitted with what we liked so we just kept it.

Nick: Do you guys have a primary focus on certain types of cars?

Erik: Mainly EDM and JDM cars. But if you kinda look at it...me being the only Euro fan, I am out numbered 3 to 1 since the other 3 members are JDM drivers haha.

Marco: LMAO!! I drive a hellaflush van. :0

Erik: and my SUV is the first range rover with LED underglow and interior lighting with flashing beats to music.

Marco: LOL!! Saw that coming. HAHA

Nick: Overall what are your guys' goals in the car scene? Do you guys want to be as big as Weksos or did you want to stay local?

Braulio: Personally, I'd like to be at a point where we could sell merchandise and such but at the same time not be a large organization. Basically something like Weksos in the sense that we're highly present in the local scene but not so much with the national scene. It would be nice to have all of California though.

Erik: Hmm...my ambitions for the team is clearly to get our names out, to show that we are not just photographers, but we want people to know that we are also a team and like any other team we like to just have fun. At the moment, it is a nonprofit joint, but in the near future, the goal is to, yes, sell stickers, hats, and t-shirts, similar to Canibeat.

Nick: Where are you guys all located and where can the public find you guys working? (As Stance X Formation)

Erik: The team is located in Fremont, but the team is spread between San Jose/Cupertino and Fremont locations. The ability to travel is there, and we do like to represent our home car crews and on behalf of them share our pictures of their cars on our site.

Braulio: I'm typically out at meets shooting for Carsxhype or just chilling with The Higher Echelon.

Marco: We will be at the Carxhype event this Sunday! Taking pictures etc.

Braulio: Yeah usually Dan and Marco are out with me if the meets are on a Sunday. I cover for Carsxhype, they cover for Stance x Formation.

Nick: What do you guys think of the car scene today? Do you guys like where its heading? What would you like to see change or added to it?

Erik: Well, the way the car scene is going, I do believe it grows each day. With t he use of social media, many of us can easily start a thread and post pictures. But the important part is to go to the events, posting pictures of these events, and encourage to others that regardless of the level of modifications on their cars, the ultimate goal is to always have fun. With the creation of Wheels N' Meals, I see a very high change in the attendance charts and age groups that come out to these events. With that said, its all about unification, its not being out there to drag race or revving engines to prove a point; With this scene, we are all diverse and we all want to have fun and eat food with good company. The vendors at Wheels N' Meals, of course, are a nice touch so people can buy and support all that we do!

Braulio: Overall the scene is pretty good. As for as actual meets go, I would like to see people act a little more civilized in terms of less burnouts and such. Personally, I would like to see less vynal wrapping and would like to see more track stanced cars.

Erik: Of course, each driver is very unique. Starting with our team alone, we have 2 DC5 drivers, 1 decked out Honda Odyssey, and a decked out Ranger Rover! How many of these sexy whips do you see at a meet??? None! and so its really just creativity that wins.

Marco: haha I agree.

Nick: Could you clarify that last point haha

Erik: Well, in general, sure we see plenty of modified Hondas but how many have the opportunity to see a Lexus on air suspensions, BMWs with red rims, Range Rovers with lights, soccermom vans (lol) going all out, or triple-toned Mitsubishi Evos? or simply someone like the famous Blurple with neochrome and 4 paint jobs haha

Nick: Ok final question! Coke or Pepsi?

Braulio: Mexican Coke!

Erik: Pepsi, since thats all we serve at Lexus :P

Braulio: Lol

Marco: Sprite. I love sprite! :D

Nick: Shoutouts?

Erik: *holds trophy up* I'd *sniffle sniffle* would like to give a shout out to my mom, dad, and family for supporting me to be a business major, and always telling me to look above and beyond, try new things, and get out there to be recognized.... :D nahhh I'd like to honestly thank my family I have right here, Braulio, Marco, and Dan. These guys have worked hard to get out there and shoot, on top of their busy ass schedules.

Nick: Thanks guys!

Erik: Thanks for giving us the opportunity!

Braulio: Thanks again!

Marco: THX YO!!

Roger's GTI Photoshoot Black & White Set (November 2012)

Driver: Roger L.
Car: 2009 Volkswagen GTI
Color: White
Rims: VMR (Teal)

These pictures are the result of a random photoshoot with Roger's GTI. The locations were located around the city of San Jose, CA. We took about 100 pictures but chose and edited the ones we thought looked the best.

We ended up editing the pictures into two sets. The first set here includes the pictures that we decided looked better in a Black & White theme. Other than tweaking clarity options, we did not edited the pictures beyond those options.

Because we shot these pictures at night, we were lucky to find many empty places that we could use as the backdrop. We had some main spots chosen and planned to go to them in a circle as to maximize efficiency but even then we found spots while moving from one spot to another!

We will post up the other set in a few days or so. Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures! Keep coming back and we will have more photosets of various cars!
    -t.h.e., be unique
